The delhi governmet, yesterday cancelled provisional regularisation certificates of 34 unauthorised colonies out of a total list of 73 colonies. The government in 2008 had issued provisional regularisation certificates to 1639 unauthorised colonies ahead of the assembly polls that time. Such kind of activities will reduce space for habitation in Delhi and fuel further demand for real estate in Gurgaon and Noida areas.
